Life at TransGlobal

The people who move
every load.

Logistics is a people business that usually forgets its people. Our drivers and crews spend their working lives on the road and on our floors — so the rest house, the training and the facilities around them are built with the same care as the fleet.

Vishramgreh

A bed between trips, not a cab.

Vishramgreh is our driver rest house at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar head office — clean dormitories, hot meals, medical support and space to actually rest between trips. A rested driver is a safe driver; that is operational strategy, not welfare policy.

Driver welfare facilities

Designed around convenience and rest.

Our driver rest areas are laid out to keep a stop comfortable and hygienic, so a driver arrives at the next leg ready for it.

Rest and relaxation

Air-conditioned rooms with clean linen and entertainment systems.

Hygiene and cleanliness

Clean toilets, washing facilities and a well-maintained environment.

Convenience

Locker facilities and mobile charging stations.

Self-care amenities

Dedicated self-cooking areas and clothes-washing options.

Focus on health

A clean, safe surrounding that supports hygiene and overall well-being.

On the warehouse side

Driver restrooms, a canteen and ample parking at the Nagpur facility.

Joining, and staying

Onboarding and retention, by SOP.

Every driver joins through the same defined process, and stays on terms that are written down rather than negotiated trip by trip.

Onboarding SOP

  • Medical test
  • Training
  • Team introduction
  • Safety kit handover

Financial

  • Trip expenses knowledge
  • Happy Card
  • Medical insurance

Incentives

  • Long-term incentive plans
  • Short-term incentive plans
Driver “SAFAR” trainings

Training that people actually sit through.

We run comprehensive safe-driving engagements, including at customer sites, designed to be engaging and interactive rather than a form to sign. Programmes are tailored to the challenges a particular client's routes throw up.

What a programme includes

  • Plays
  • Classroom activity
  • On-vehicle training
  • Medical check-up camps
Safety first

A safe driver needs a safe organisation around him.

Our transport management and safety protocol covers the organisation, the vehicle and the driver together — because a checklist on one of the three does not hold on its own.

Safe organisation

  • Training & development programmes
  • Safety-first culture
  • Compliance & best practice

Safe vehicle

  • En-route cargo check points
  • Pre- and post-loading checks
  • DMS-enabled vehicles

Safe driver

  • SOP-driven hiring process
  • Safety training & medical check-ups
  • No night driving policy
